Fengxian Xin, male, Ph.D., Professor, visiting scholar of Harvard University, visiting scholar of MIT. His research interests are porous material/structure vibration and acoustics, structural dynamics, vibration and noise reduction theory and technology. He mainly studies porous material structure, acoustic metamaterials, vibration and noise reduction performance of metamaterials. Dr. Fengxian Xin has been elected into the youth a talent program of Xi'an Jiaotong University. Up to date, he has published over 80 SCI papers in JMPS, POF, JASA, JSV, APL and other important journals, ,and co-published 2 academic monographs. His research works were positively evaluated by 14 Chinese and foreign academicians, and his applied technology research has been applied in practice. He is awarded the Excellent Doctorate Dissertation award nomination of China, the Excellent Scientific and Technological Thesis Award of China Association for Science, and the National Machinery Industry Science and Technology Progress Award.
