Huimin Li is associate professor and doctoral supervisor of The Institute of Advanced Structural Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology. He is the winner of "Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Chinese Composite Materials". He has long been committed to the research of lightweight design, process manufacturing, performance evaluation and engineering application of composite materials and structures, and has rich experience in basic scientific research and engineering technology. As the first/corresponding author, he has published more than 20 papers in international journals such as J Mech Phys Solids, Compos Sci Technol, Int J Plasticity, Composites Part B, etc. He has presided over more than ten projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Basic Scientific Research of State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense. His main research areas are fiber reinforced resin matrix composites, including structural design, manufacturing and performance evaluation of lightweight composites, three-dimensional braided composites, and composite additive manufacturing technology, etc.
