Prof. Qibo Deng,Hebei University of Technology, China

Prof. Qibo Deng received his bachelor’s (2007) and master’s degrees (2009) in Solid Mechanics at the Beijing Institute of Technology, China and then received his PhD degree in Material Physics and Technology at the Hamburg University of Technology, Germany in 2014. He is currently working as a full professor at the Hebei University of Technology, China. His research focuses on the electrocapillary coupling of surface mechanics and electrochemistry at the solid-liquid interface, as well as the surfacemechanics-induced improvement of electrochemical properties of the electrode materials. In past 5 years, he has published more that 45 SCI papers, more than 700 citation and H-index 16. He has hosted over 9 scientific research projects including the National Natural Science Fund of China. He received the International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM) Scientist Medal in the year 2019. He has been honored with the Fellow of the IAAM and Vebleo Fellow.
