Fengxian Xin, male, PhD in solid mechanics, Professor, visiting scholar of Harvard University, visiting scholar of MIT. His research direction is acoustic wave dynamics, mainly including multi-field coupling mechanics of soft media, vibration and noise reduction of porous media, multi-functional design of underwater acoustic materials, etc. His research involves interdisciplinary research fields such as solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, acoustics and heat transfer. He has published more than 100 SCI papers (including more than 90 first/corresponding SCI papers) in JMPS, PoF, JASA, JSV, MSSP, CST, APL and other important journals, and co-published 2 academic monographs. His research work has been positively evaluated by 19 Chinese and foreign academicians, and his applied technology have been practically applied. He is awarded the Excellent Doctorate Dissertation award nomination of China, the Excellent Scientific and Technological Thesis Award of China Association for Science, and the National Machinery Industry Science and Technology Progress Award.
