Bio: Dr. Bing Li is a full professor in the School of Aeronautics at Northwestern Polytechnical University. His current research interests include dynamics of elastic/mechanical metamaterials/metasurfaces, wave mechanics and structural health monitoring. He has published >100 scientific papers in top-tier peer-reviewed journals and renowned international conferences such as Nat. Commun., Compos. Sci. Tech., Compos. Part A/B, JSV, MSSP, IJMS etc. Dr. Li is an Associate Editor/(Youth) Editor Board Member for 7 scientific journals including Chinese Journal of Aeronautics, International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing, Journal of Materials Science & Technology, Frontiers in Physics etc. Dr. Li is elected as the Fellow of IAAM, Senior Member of CSTAM and CSCC, Member of ASC, and IPS. He has received a series of awards and honors, including Distinguished Expert of Chinese “Oversea Young Talents Program” (2020), 2nd Prize of the Science and Technology Award of the CSAA, CAI and CSVE (2024), The Youth Talent Program of Northwestern Polytechnical University (2018), etc.

Prof.Zi-Long Zhao
Beihang University, China
Bio: Zi-Long Zhao obtained his doctoral degree in 2016 from Tsinghua University (China). Since 2021, he has been a full Professor at Beihang University (China). He is elected as an overseas high-level young talent of China (2020), an ARC DECRA fellow (2019), an innovative and entrepreneurial talent of Jiangsu Province (2024), a VEBLEO fellow (2025), and a young top talent of Beihang University (2022). He is an expert of the Chinese Ministry of Education, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Australian Research Council, and the Jiangsu Association of Science and Technology. He is an editorial advisory board member of Engineering Fracture Mechanics. His research interests include solid mechanics, biomechanics, structural topology optimization, and aircraft design. By 2025, he has published more than 60 papers in internationally prestigious SCI journals. He is the general chair of multiple international conferences such as ICoACE 2024, AITCE 2025, ICAMME 2025, AEME 2026, and ISCNA 2026.

Prof. Yong Liang
Xi’an Jiaotong University, China
Bio: Dr. Yong Liang is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, recognized as a National Young Talent and Class-A Young Top-notch Talent at Xi'an Jiaotong University. He has been dedicated to research in computational solid mechanics, with a focus on developing novel numerical algorithms for extreme deformation problems. He completed his doctoral studies under the supervision of Prof. Xiong Zhang at Tsinghua University and conducted postdoctoral research in collaboration with Prof. Kenichi Soga at the University of California, Berkeley. He currently works in the research group of Prof. Shengping Shen. His representative contributions include the Extended Material Point Method, the Staggered Grid Material Point Method, and the Virtual Stress Boundary Method, which provide innovative tools for numerical simulation and analysis of extreme deformation problems. His research findings have been published as first author in computational mechanics journals, including CMAME, IJNME, and COMP&GEO. He also serves as a Young Editorial Board Member for the Chinese Journal of Computational Mechanics and the Chinese Journal of Applied Mechanics.

Assoc. Prof. Khandaker Noman
Northwestern Polytechnical University, China
Bio: Dr. Khandaker Noman completed his Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China in 2021. He is currently working as an “Associate Professor” in School of Civil Aviation of Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China. So far, he has published more than 50 SCI indexed journal articles and 1 English monograph. He has also managed 8 national/provincial/city level research projects in China. He has been involved in more than 10 prestigious international conference in different capacity such as “Keynote Speaker”, “Vice-Chair”, “Invited Speaker” and “Session Chair”. At present he is serving as the “Associate Editor” for internationally acclaimed journal namely “Journal of Intelligent manufacturing (Springer)” and early career editorial board member of “Non-destructive Testing and Evaluation (Taylor and Francis)”. Simultaneously he has also been serving as the “Youth Editor” for “Machines (MDPI)” and “Advisory Board member” for “Measurement (Elsevier)”. He is the winner of “The Research Fund for International Young Scientists” and “The Research Fund for International Excellent Young Scientists” from National Natural Science Foundation of China. Due to his significant contribution in the field of prognostic and health management of mechanical equipment, he has been awarded as the “Entrepreneur and Innovation Talent” by Jiangsu Province of China in 2024. As a recognition of research, he has won the “Machines 2023 Young Investigator Award” in 2023 as sole winner in the whole world.
